Description
This virtual course will guide you through how to use each element of the TOD in order to meet the requirements of each aspect of the SASC report format, as well as other tests that need to be administered.
All of the subtests in the TOD-S and TOD-C will be covered, with an explanation of what each subtest measures, as well as sample paragraphs of analysis. New aspects, such as orthographic processing, will be explained.
We will cover each area of ability, cognitive processing and attainment. Advice will be given on how to approach tricky areas.
Following this we will discuss mapping the findings to the new definition of dyslexia Finally, we will cover some useful areas such as how to write the appendices using the TOD.
This course will fully support you in creating valuable and practical reports of assessments that you carry out using the TOD.

Course prerequisites
Assessors should have a Level 7 in dyslexia or equivalent and are competent to carry out assessments for dyslexia.
