Description
TORE is a recently standardised UK test that measures retrieval efficiency speed. It can be used with individuals or small groups (including EAL learners) between the ages of 13-18 years. TORE has two 45 second subtests and a composite.
This training, by the authors of the test, will explain the rationale behind the TORE and what it measures, describe its development and standardisation, and outline how it can be used in an Examination Access Arrangement Assessment, as well as providing additional information on an individual’s retrieval efficiency in a Diagnostic Assessment Report.
The course is suitable for Examination Access Arrangements Assessors with a level 7 qualification and for assessors with an APC who are interested in adding to their battery of tests.
