Description

This course will explain the rationale for the 2025 report format and key features.
It will take assessors through the 2025 report format one section at time, highlighting changes from the existing report formats.
All aspects of the 2025 report format will be covered, as well as the accompanying comments. Advice will be given on how to approach each area and report assessment findings. Examples of tests to use under each area will be provided.
Advice will be given on how to synthesise background information, assessment results and qualitative observations in order to produce a cohesive assessment report.
Particular focus will be given on how to tailor the report to the individual being assessed. 

Following this we will discuss mapping the findings to the new definition of dyslexia.
This course will fully support assessors in creating valuable and useful assessment reports.

Course prerequisites

Candidates will need to have a level 7 dyslexia or dyscalculia qualification.
