Description
This theory underpins the CAS-2 (Cognitive Assessment System-Second Edition), a tool designed to assess these abilities. Professor Naglieri has also explored how PASS theory can be applied to identify profiles of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). Although retired, Naglieri remains influential. Meanwhile, reviewers from STEC have expressed that the CAS-2 is an excellent tool for assessing children's cognitive abilities, despite its novel approach to evaluating underlying processes.
