Description

During the morning session, the changes to the JCQ regulations for the new academic year will be covered. Lia and Nick will discuss the changes in detail, providing background to the changes and examples of in-practice scenarios. The afternoon session incorporates a dedicated Q&A section, providing the opportunity to have all your questions answered. Following this, there will be discussion and workshop activities, including exploring more complex and challenging scenarios and case studies. Changes to the regulations will be incorporated into the session, to help embed the new information.

Delegates will have the opportunity to submit a case study in advance for review during the session.

During the afternoon, there will also be the opportunity to book short individual appointments with Nick.

The course will provide:

A full update to the JCQ regulations for the new academic year.

Guidance on the necessary paperwork and procedures to comply with the regulations.

The opportunity to have your questions answered about access arrangements regulations and procedures.

A review of case studies, including complex or challenging scenarios.

The opportunity to meet with trainers and network with colleagues from other centres in a friendly environment.

Following the training, all delegates will receive an attendance certificate which includes the SASC authorisation code.

Additionally, there is the option for attendees to demonstrate their knowledge of the regulations and procedures through an online assessment. A CPD certificate will be provided on successful completion. (Additional £10 fee applies)

Please note that the room layout will be cabaret style to allow for enhanced collaboration and networking. For this reason, spaces are limited so early booking is advised.
