Description

** This is an In-House event**
This two-hour face-to-face session provides a clear and practical update on the JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA) regulations for the 2025–26 academic year. The focus is on helping delegates understand the updated requirements, the areas they affect, and the practical steps needed to implement them in their own setting.

The course will look at the regulations section by section, explaining their application to different types of access arrangements and the evidence required. We will explore the implications for centre-based processes, including gathering and recording evidence, completing the correct JCQ forms, and ensuring that arrangements reflect a candidate’s normal way of working. Guidance will also be given on inspection readiness and maintaining compliance throughout the academic year.

The session combines clear explanation with practical examples and the opportunity for delegates to ask questions, ensuring they leave with a confident understanding of the requirements and how to put them into practice.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  1. Understand all key changes and clarifications to JCQ Access Arrangements regulations for 2025–26
  2. Be able to identify where current centre practice aligns with the updated requirements and where changes are needed
  3. Recognise the implications of regulatory changes for evidence gathering, form completion, and inspection readiness
